Charley’s Cookies supports adults with disabilities in building job skills. Each client we hire receives their Food handlers card and is carefully trained and supervised in using commercial grade mixers, ovens and sealers and follow strict food handlers awareness.
Charley’s Cookies taste best within 48 hours of purchase or they can last 6-8 months longer if stored in the freezer in a freezer safe container. Because they are baked without added preservatives, and are made with all butter recipes they should not be left in the sun or higher than room temperature areas. Once taken out of the packaging they should be eaten immediately. In air tight packaging they will last 5-6 days in the fridge and keep their fresh taste. If stored in the freezer in air tight Ziploc they can last up to 8 months.
We have been making oven fresh cookies for two years now! Every cookie is hand scooped and handled with extreme care. Each recipe has developed and been perfected over years of compliments from friends and family of Charley (creator of the delicious recipes). These precious recipes were then donated to us by Charley McCormick. We use only the finest ingredients that you would use if you were making cookies for your children. Our recipe uses butter and no shortening or artificial flavoring and no trans fat. Each order is baked and packaged specially for you!
We offer a gluten free Cho-co-co cookie option made with Pamela’s gluten free flour. However, we are not a gluten free facility, and our cookies are produced on equipment that has been used for recipes that contain nuts, eggs, milk, soy and wheat.
